Slushii, the 22-year-old producer and DJ from New Jersey, made a stop in downtown Phoenix for his Outbreak Tour Friday night. The event was held at the well-known music venue, The Van Buren, known for its outdoor capabilities, clean facilities and short lines for the bar. We understand why people have reviewed it online so well; people seem to thoroughly enjoy their experience there. Not to mention, anywhere throughout the venue the sound carries extremely well.
Opening up for Slushii was Rampant and Medicine Mike. The two were able to set the tempo for the evening and got the fans ready for the headlining act. He arrived at the stage and began to play hit after hit. Matching his uptempo songs were the phenomenal stage and lighting setup. He also had really intriguing visuals to assist his stage presence.
The night went on and everyone downright enjoyed themselves. On top of the electronic music, Slushii was great at mixing in relevant pop and hip-hop hits that anyone could appreciate!
Check out the interview we did previously with Slushii at Bumbershoot in 2017. He talked about video games and producing music. RMR also had the chance to see him at Goldrush Music Festival last fall.
