Subdued Excitement’s Sub Division is their economical concentrate brand. This economic shatter could easily take the place of some basic top-shelf BHO diamonds because Sub X always brings the heat. This simple packing wraps around some of the terpiest shatter I’ve ever tried. Shatter is one of the forgotten concentrate types, but Sub X’s Lime 43 is giving me a reason to go back slab after slab.
Lime 43 is a cross between White Fire 43 and Orange Juice Bud. The one-gram slab shines through the packaging. The center is light orange and the color fades out into an almost translucent yellow. Once it’s unwrapped citrus and lime aromas crept into my nostrils. The smell isn’t overwhelming, but it’s noticeable and quite lovely.
The best part about shatter is you can easily break off a piece and drop it on your nail with your bare hands. The glassy concentrate releases sweet lime flavors that makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
This indica-hybrid almost felt like a sativa. It had the calming effects that indica strains are associated with but it also had kept my attention focused on the task at hand. This is a good strain to relax with while hiking or running on the beach. This strain calmed me down with no mental weight whatsoever.
