Our good friends from Pittsburgh, The Come Up, finally dropped their debut album Change of Plans with features from Mac Miller, Casey Veggies, Kemickal, and Primavera Vills. Production credits include Big Jerm, Sayez, ID Labs, Khrysis, and 9th Wonder. Franchise and Vinny Radio have been putting in a ton of work this past year traveling around the country and recording music. The East Pittsburgh boys have been busy with two nation wide tours with Mac Miller, trips to North Carolina for studio sessions with 9th Wonder and his camp, and opening up for a list of artists all around the country.
The Come Up have a traditional east coast influence on their music (inspired by a lot of the music WE in our mid 20s grew up with) but are not scared to venture to different sounds leaving a good sound that blends well with a lot of current indie artists. Pittsburgh as a city has that east coast traditional sound as well as a bass heavy southern style and Change Of Plans is right in between with intelligent bars and beats that still slap.
