After an extended break from work, this last Monday definitely dragged on longer than it should have. Knowing I had some good looking Northern Lights from Trail Blazin at home might have made my day a little longer. Actually, let’s be honest, the longest feeling stretch of work is going to be these next three weeks before Christmas.
I was optimistic that my day could improve as I sat down on my couch and inspected my purchase. Hand-trimmed, sustainably grown, and pesticide free appeared all over the label for this Northern Lights. This pure Indica definitely appeared to be exactly what I needed.
Opening the package a very sweet pine aroma filled the air. The buds were dense and orange. I noticed hairs covering the tight nugs as I rolled them around between my fingers. Cracking open a bud resulted in a more potent sweet aroma greeting my nose. They broke apart fairly easily and made a loud crack as I broke some off to smoke.
I could hear my dinner cooking in the oven as I loaded my first bowl. The combination of Salmon, Rosemary, and Northern Lights made for a mouth-watering aroma. Apparently my couch eats lighters because it took me awhile to find one. As I inhaled my first hit, a mellow sweet smoke greeted my lungs. I exhaled and immediately began to feel like I was floating. My head was heavy and my legs felt as if I had cinder blocks attached to my feet when I walked towards my kitchen. The munchies and cottonmouth also hit me immediately..
