Cool Nutz – PORTLAND NI%#A (NEW ALBUM)

A new album hit Portland this week, and has already been received with open arms. Cool Nutz’s  “PORTLAND NI%#A” is not only new in the sense that it was recently released, but also in the sense that it is really something fresh.  While maintaining the classic Northwest hip hop style, this album definitely has a personality of its own.  It is smooth and chill; cool and laid back, but not without an attitude. From title track, “Portland Ni99a”, to the soulful “Know God”, every track on this album is fantastic.  Cool Nutz does a great job of being real in his music, making listening to his tracks a very personal experience for fans.

“PORTLAND NI%#A” includes a lot of big names, featuring a variety of artists; Arjay, Kenny Mack, Maniac Lok, Mikey Vegaz, The Grouch, Bosko, Mistah FAB, Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, Messy Marv, DUBBLEOO, and Speedy Gunz.  On top of that line up, the album showcases tracks produced by InfinitRakz, Lawz Spoken, @JEB206, Trox, Stewart Villain, Bosko, and Krispy Hendrixx.

Along with the release of this new album, Cool Nutz will be heading out in September on his own “I Am Portland” tour, with shows scheduled in Nevada, Oregon, California, Washington, and Montana!  This tour will include performances with Rick Ross, Tyga and E-40.  Check out the Cool Nutz Love Page for ticket give-a-ways and more information on the tour.
