When some people think of a rapper, the stereotypical image might come to mind. You know, the cliche guy draped in gold chains with a bunch of models surrounding them popping bottles. I want you to think of the exact opposite of that and introduce yourself to Seattle rapper, Nick Weaver.
Between his crisp paisley button-ups and his polished oxfords, you’d think he was a reincarnate of Van Gogh. Don’t let his looks fool you though. Behind that fiery red hair lies the heat that his bars are forged with.

His verses are drenched with substance start to finish, painting pictures of Weaver’s life. He has a clever way of organizing his verses that are fresh and intriguing to your ear. Packing in that amount of creative content is impressive and his music never really has a dull moment.

Weaver’s determination and drive – quite literally driving tickets directly to his fans – has led him to grace the stage at the legendary Showbox. It has given him the opportunity to open up for Sir Mix-A-Lot, as well as headlining shows of his own.
Nick Weaver’s next headline will be on Friday, March 31st at Barboza. Joining him will be local duo Kung Foo Grip and Portland native Tope.
