This past year I became a fan of many new artists and started to really branch out from the usual rap, trap, hip-hop, and bass music that I generally stick to. I recently was jamming out to some of the tracks I listened to at the beginning of the year and began wondering what songs my friends have been listening to.
I figured a couple of good playlists was needed to help organize these favorite songs and realized that RMR’s #TheseSongsSlap series is the perfect place to host this type of playlist. Down below you’ll hear some incredibly dope music compiled by myself and our co-owner Mitch, as well as THE one and only DJ Famous!
Each of us has spent some time as a DJ, primarily spinning rap or hip-hop. We feel like we’ve got a good grasp on what music is hot and what’s basically trash and hope you enjoy the playlists we’ve put together!

Favorite Track: Drake ‘Back To Back’
“This year I have spent more time listening to Drake’s ‘Back To Back’ “freestyle’ than any other rap song. As soon as I heard Drizzy clownin’ on Meek Mill I was hooked and shared it to as many people as possible. I would give Kendrick’s ‘Black Friday’ a close second!” – Joey B.

Favorite Track: Future – ‘March Madness’
“Does this really need an explanation? This is easily one, if not THE best turn up song of 2015. Future had an amazing year and I’m excited to see what 2016 has in store for him.” – DJ Famous
