Festa Italiana 2026 Brings Italian Food, Music, and Culture to San Pedro, California

San Pedro, California, came alive with Italian food, music, and culture on Saturday, October 10, as Festa Italiana Los Angeles 2026 returned for another celebration of Italian-American heritage. The free, family-friendly festival brought together local restaurants, musicians, businesses, and community members for a day dedicated to Italian traditions.

Hosted by the Little Italy of Los Angeles Association (LILAA) in partnership with Los Angeles Council District 15, the celebration took over 6th Street in Downtown San Pedro, welcoming visitors to explore everything from authentic Italian cuisine to live entertainment and cultural activities.

With plenty of food vendors, performances, and activities throughout the day, Festa Italiana offered a great opportunity to experience Italian culture without leaving Southern California.

Italian Food Takes Center Stage at Festa Italiana 2026

One of Festa Italiana’s biggest highlights was the food. The festival featured a variety of Italian restaurants and vendors serving pizza, pasta, pastries, desserts, and other traditional favorites. For our visit, we decided to focus on one of our favorite foods: pizza.

We stopped at three different vendors throughout the festival, trying pepperoni pizza from Cone Pizza, Nardo Italian, and Ciao Bella Pizzeria. Each offered a different pizza experience, letting us explore multiple businesses during the celebration.

Cone Pizza

Our first highlight was the Cone Pizza, which delivered a unique take on one of our favorite foods. The pizza had a soft texture that made it easy to enjoy, but what really stood out was the crunch you could feel with that first bite.

Another thing we appreciated was the amount of sauce. It wasn’t overloaded, allowing the pepperoni and the rest of the ingredients to come through without one flavor overpowering everything else. The overall flavor was really good, and the combination of a soft texture, satisfying crunch, and well portioned sauce made Cone Pizza an enjoyable stop during the festival.

Nardo Italian — Our Favorite Pizza of the Festival

Of the three pizza vendors we tried, Nardo Italian was easily our favorite.

We ordered their pepperoni pizza, and it stood out for its soft texture, flavorful sauce, and a little kick of spice that brought everything together.

The sauce was one of the biggest highlights. It had a really good flavor that complemented the pepperoni, while the slight spiciness added something extra without becoming overwhelming.

Every bite delivered a great combination of softness, sauce, and heat. After trying all three vendors, Nardo Italian was the one we kept coming back to when discussing our favorite pizza of the day.

For anyone who enjoys a softer pizza with a little spice and a flavorful sauce, Nardo Italian was definitely a standout from our experience at Festa Italiana 2026.

Ciao Bella Pizzeria

Our final pizza highlight was Ciao Bella Pizzeria, where we once again went with a classic pepperoni pizza.

What stood out most about Ciao Bella was the crunch. Compared to the softer textures we experienced at the other vendors, this pizza offered a noticeably crispier bite.

The pepperoni pizza was really good, and that satisfying crunch made it an enjoyable addition to our food experience at Festa Italiana.

Although Nardo Italian ultimately took our top spot, Ciao Bella Pizzeria brought something different to the table with its crispier texture, rounding out three enjoyable pizza experiences at the festival.

Celebrating Italian-American Heritage in Los Angeles

Festa Italiana is especially meaningful in San Pedro, a community with deep Italian-American roots.

For generations, Italian immigrants and their descendants have helped shape the area’s fishing industry, businesses, restaurants, and cultural identity.

The Little Italy of Los Angeles Association continues working to preserve and celebrate that history through community events, partnerships, and cultural programs.

Festa Italiana also gives visitors an opportunity to discover local businesses while supporting the organizations that help keep these traditions alive.

A Memorable Celebration of Italian Food and Community

Festa Italiana 2026 brought together food, music, entertainment, and Italian-American heritage for a celebration in Downtown San Pedro.

For us, exploring the different pizza vendors was a major highlight, especially discovering Nardo Italian as our favorite pepperoni pizza of the day.

Events like Festa Italiana provide a great opportunity to experience different cultures, support local businesses, and discover new places worth visiting.
