Inglewood Debuts The Anthem Hotel Bringing NFL Season To Life With New Football Legacy Suite Near SoFi Stadium

The Anthem Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is leaning heavily into football with a new lineup of experiences at its Inglewood property. At the center is the new Football Legacy Suite, an immersive hotel room celebrating the history of the Super Bowl and the franchises that have defined the championship over the past six decades.

The hotel is also introducing a Game Day Getaway Package alongside poolside pep rallies, pregame tailgates, viewing parties, food, drinks, DJs, and other programming throughout the season.

Located at 3900 W. Century Blvd. in Inglewood’s LA Stadium District, The Anthem sits near SoFi Stadium, giving Rams and Chargers fans along with visiting supporters another option for turning game day into an entire weekend.

The timing is also significant. Los Angeles is building toward Super Bowl LXI on February 14, 2027, when the championship returns to SoFi Stadium.

Inside The Anthem Hotel’s Football Legacy Suite

The Football Legacy Suite is much more than adding a couple of footballs and team logos to a standard hotel room. The Anthem designed the space around the history of championship football, with Los Angeles itself playing an important part in that story.

The city hosted the first AFL-NFL World Championship Game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on January 15, 1967. The game would retroactively become known as Super Bowl I, beginning a championship history that now stretches across six decades.

With Super Bowl LXI bringing the game back to the Los Angeles area in February, The Anthem is using the suite to connect that history with the upcoming championship.

Inside, guests will find curated installations celebrating some of football’s most successful franchises. Teams with four or more Super Bowl championships are represented through a helmet display, while franchises with at least three victories are recognized through a collection of footballs.

Archival photographs of memorable game-day moments are incorporated throughout the space alongside team flags, pennants, football books, and additional memorabilia.

Even the floor gets involved, with a field-inspired rug helping turn the room itself into part of the experience.

Madden, PlayStation 5 And A Room Built For Football Fans

Of course, football history isn’t the only thing happening inside the suite. A Sony PlayStation 5 gives guests the chance to play Madden NFL 26, with plans to add Madden NFL 27 following its release.

That addition helps keep the Football Legacy Suite from feeling like a football museum disguised as a hotel room. Guests can spend time exploring the history represented throughout the suite and then jump directly into their own virtual matchups.

It’s an interesting approach for fans traveling to Los Angeles for a Rams or Chargers game, particularly groups that want their football weekend to continue after leaving SoFi Stadium.

The Anthem has already experimented with this concept around other major sporting events.

Its previous activations include the HomeCourt Suite, introduced around NBA All-Star Weekend, and the Soccer Legends Suite, which celebrated soccer culture during Los Angeles’ summer of international competition.

Football is now getting its turn.

Game Day Getaway Turns A SoFi Stadium Trip Into A Weekend

For fans staying overnight, The Anthem is pairing the new suite with its Game Day Getaway Package. The package includes complimentary access to the hotel’s Poolside Pep Rallies and Tailgates, along with a grab-and-go credit that guests can use for snacks and refreshments during their stay.

The location makes the package particularly interesting.

Instead of simply using the hotel as somewhere to sleep after the game, The Anthem is attempting to make the property part of the game-day experience itself.

“Los Angeles is one of the world’s great sports and entertainment cities, and The Anthem is uniquely positioned at the center of that energy,” The Anthem Hotel General Manager Ruben Flores said.

Flores added that the Football Legacy Suite represents the next step in the hotel’s growing collection of sports-inspired stays, with the goal of giving local and visiting fans another place to gather around the teams and sports they follow.

Pep Rallies And Tailgates Before SoFi Stadium

The football programming extends beyond overnight guests and the Football Legacy Suite. The Anthem’s Pep Rally takes place the day before games and is designed as a meeting point for fans traveling into Los Angeles.

Things get considerably busier on game day.

Tailgates begin four hours before kickoff, with full bar service, food stations, game coverage, a DJ, cornhole, beer pong, and other activities spread throughout the property.

As kickoff gets closer, fans attending the game are invited to walk from The Anthem toward SoFi Stadium together.

For registered hotel guests, admission to the tailgates is complimentary. Fans who aren’t staying at the property can also purchase access to participating tailgate events separately.

That combination allows The Anthem to serve two different crowds: travelers making a weekend out of the game and Los Angeles locals looking for somewhere to start before heading into the stadium.

Los Angeles Prepares For Super Bowl LXI

All of this is ultimately building toward February. Los Angeles has hosted eight Super Bowls across the greater metropolitan area, beginning with the inaugural championship game in 1967. Super Bowl LXI will bring the game back to SoFi Stadium on February 14, 2027, five years after the venue hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2022.

For The Anthem, that creates months of opportunities to build football programming rather than waiting until Super Bowl week.

Regular-season Rams and Chargers games, the playoffs, visiting fan bases, and eventually the Super Bowl itself all bring different crowds into Inglewood.

The Football Legacy Suite gives some of those visitors an opportunity to make football part of the entire trip instead of an experience limited to a few hours inside SoFi Stadium.

For a hotel positioned in the middle of one of Los Angeles’ busiest sports and entertainment districts, that’s the bigger idea behind the new offering.

The game may still happen inside the stadium, but The Anthem wants the experience to begin well before kickoff.
