October has arrived, and Better Noise Music is using the entire month to celebrate the past, present, and future of its rock catalog.
The independent label is officially taking part in “ROCKTOBER,” a month-long celebration bringing together new releases, upcoming music, catalog titles, and special vinyl offerings from artists across its roster. Five Finger Death Punch, From Ashes To New, In This Moment, The HU, Bad Wolves, The Funeral Portrait, Eva Under Fire, Finger Eleven, and several others are all represented throughout the campaign.
Better Noise enters October following an already busy year. The label became the first independent label to hold the No. 1 position at both Active Rock and Alternative Radio earlier in 2026, while several of their biggest artists have released new albums and continued touring around the world.
Now, ROCKTOBER gives rock fans another reason to dig into those new releases while revisiting albums from the Better Noise catalog.
Better Noise Music Enters ROCKTOBER With Plenty Of New Music
Better Noise didn’t wait until October to start releasing new music.
Five Finger Death Punch released their 10th studio album, Legacy, digitally on July 31, marking another chapter in the band’s 20-year career. The album includes “Nails In The Coffin” alongside “Eye Of The Storm,” which became the band’s 18th No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
Physical editions of Legacy followed in September across vinyl, CD, and cassette, giving collectors several different versions of the album to choose from.
The HU also returned with HUN on July 24. The Mongolian rock band’s third full-length album features 11 tracks, continuing to expand the group’s combination of traditional Mongolian instrumentation and throat singing with modern rock and metal.
In This Moment delivered Witch in August, while Eva Under Fire released Villainous in July.
Yellowcard’s Better Days also received an expanded Deluxe edition in September.
From Ashes To New released Reflections in April and will continue the album’s cycle with a Deluxe edition arriving November 13.
Together, those releases give Better Noise plenty of recent material to spotlight as ROCKTOBER gets underway.
Five Finger Death Punch, Bad Wolves, In This Moment And More Add To The Celebration
The campaign isn’t limited to albums.
Better Noise is also highlighting several recently released songs from across its roster, including Five Finger Death Punch’s “Nails In The Coffin,” Bad Wolves’ take on “Jolene,” From Ashes To New’s “Love Me,” and The Rasmus’ “Forever Young.”
In This Moment teamed with Dayseeker for “I Want To Believe,” while Sabaton joined forces with Pop Evil for a collaborative version of “Templars.”
Death Valley Dreams also entered the mix with their interpretation of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game.”
That variety makes ROCKTOBER less about one particular corner of rock and more representative of the range Better Noise has assembled across its roster.
The label has spent years building around hard rock, alternative, metal, and adjacent sounds. Its current lineup reflects that, moving from the arena-sized metal of Five Finger Death Punch to the Mongolian-rooted sound of The HU and the alternative rock of Yellowcard.
More Better Noise Music Is Coming In October
ROCKTOBER will continue bringing new releases throughout the month.
Finger Eleven are set to release a maxi single tied to “Last Night On Earth” on October 9. The track is also the title song from the band’s current album, with physical versions of Last Night On Earth available through Better Noise on CD and vinyl.
Later in the month, Soil will release “Enemy X” on October 30.
Better Noise has also confirmed additional music from Bad Wolves and The Funeral Portrait is on the way in 2026, extending the label’s release schedule beyond the ROCKTOBER campaign.
With several weeks still ahead, the month isn’t simply being used to promote music that’s already available. It also serves as a bridge into the next wave of releases from the label.
ROCKTOBER Puts The Better Noise Catalog Back On Vinyl
Physical music is another major piece of the ROCKTOBER celebration.
Better Noise is using the month to spotlight vinyl offerings from throughout its catalog, including recent releases and albums that have already established themselves within the label’s history.
Five Finger Death Punch’s Best Of Volumes 1 and 2 are among the featured titles. The band’s AfterLife is also included with both its standard and Deluxe editions.
From Ashes To New’s Blackout, The Funeral Portrait’s Greetings From Suffocate City, The HU’s Rumble Of Thunder, Nothing More’s CARNAL, Bad Wolves’ Die About It, and Eva Under Fire’s Love, Drugs & Misery are also part of the catalog push, with standard and Deluxe editions represented throughout the collection.
For vinyl collectors, ROCKTOBER provides a chance to look beyond the newest releases and return to records that helped build Better Noise’s current catalog.
The label’s physical store currently carries releases from across its roster, including Legacy and both volumes of Five Finger Death Punch’s Best Of collection, alongside releases from Finger Eleven and other Better Noise artists.
A Busy 2026 Continues For Better Noise Music
ROCKTOBER arrives during what has already been an active year for Better Noise Music.
Beyond the amount of music released throughout 2026, the label reached a notable radio milestone in May when From Ashes To New and Yellowcard simultaneously reached No. 1 at two different formats.
From Ashes To New earned its first Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay No. 1, while Yellowcard’s “Bedroom Posters” featuring Good Charlotte held the top position on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart. According to Better Noise, the achievement made it the first independent label to simultaneously reach No. 1 at Active Rock and Alternative Radio.
That momentum now carries directly into October.
Rather than centering ROCKTOBER around one artist or release, Better Noise is opening up its entire roster and catalog for the celebration. New albums sit alongside older favorites, vinyl collectors have another opportunity to expand their collections, and several artists still have new music scheduled before the month is over.
For a label built around rock music, spending an entire month celebrating it feels appropriate.
Fans can follow the latest releases from the label through the Better Noise 101 playlist and explore the full Better Noise Music catalog throughout ROCKTOBER.
