They are also convenient after walks. Benito already expects some kind of compensation for returning home, and a small piece gives him the reward he is looking for without turning every successful walk into a second meal.

Anyone who lives with a food-motivated dog knows that dogs develop an impressive understanding of packaging. Benito may ignore regular household sounds, but the Bocce’s bag gets an immediate reaction. He can be resting in another room and suddenly materialize the second the package moves.
