“This is all you will ever need to smoke,” Higgins says while showing off HIGGS classic 0.3 gram joints during his recent appearance on the Respect My Region podcast with Joey Brabo. “A true, jarred eighth in a box. That is what we do. That is the stamp of approval we’re going to give. It should change people’s habits. We’re going to save people money and give them a better experience.”
HIGGS new infused mini pre-roll packs are at the intersection of years of dedication to the art of consumption for paper-preferred joint smokers and one Sativa strain lover’s affinity for battle tested, authentic genetics.
Given Higgins’ duality in previously launching the HIGGS brand in California, then moving to Canada, and now exclusively to New York, the infused mini-pre-rolls are designed with the average New York stoner on a time crunch in mind.
As a result, the New York City-based cannabis brand’s latest innovation, the .35 gram mini pre-roll infused with cannabis terpenes, was built on the mantra that less is more. This is something that the brand’s owner Oliver Higgins isn’t afraid to share with anyone who asks.

In essence, they were subsequently engineered to answer the call to action that the hustle and bustle of The Big Apple demands of its inhabitants.
“Cali is like, ‘kick back, let’s smoke a little Jay,'” Higgins said. “New York is like, ‘I’m on the street corner—I’m on a break from my job for 15 minutes. Let me do a walk around block and like let me smoke that.'”
“Again, I think even just reframing people’s minds, like if you like to smoke something, who doesn’t like to smoke? But if we’re talking about paying your hard-earned money for cannabis, which is like what most people are spending their money on, it’s an actual recreational activity, like other things—like let them get value in that, but let them get a good experience.”
With a hybrid flower base, reminiscent of strains such as a Gorilla Glue, and other hybrids, the infused mini pre-rolls pack an additional punch due to the added live resin cannabis terpenes.
And for Higgins, who could be considered a Sativa strain connoisseur, it was important that the backbone for newly launched infused mini pre-rolls heavily relied on the blueprint that legacy Sativa strains provide.

“So, you know, they’re going to be just, you know, kind of like the Blackberry Kush, the Cherry Pies of the world, the Super Silver of the world, the Clementine,” Higgins said. “Those are the four I think that we’re debuting with first. And those will be a lot more rotational, too, because I think, you know, you just there’s just more freedom in there than giving someone a specific feeling from a full flower.”
While it’s clear that HIGGS is evolving with a distinct customer in mind, their overall mission remains the same with the launch of the infused mini pre-rolls.
“I mean, I first launched the regular full flower packs because I wanted people to understand what the quality of a real pre-roll could be,” Higgins said. “You know, like this is what a joint should be like. This is the terpene profile. This is what it should smell like. And so, now we can drop the infused ones uh to kind of just enhance what we’re already building on.”
