Tucson’s Gem & Jam Festival is returning for its 16th year and is scheduled from February 2 – 4, 2024, at the Pima County Fairgrounds in Arizona. Featuring the likes of some of our favorite electronic music artists including Boogie T, Breauxx, and Of The Trees, this festival goes beyond your typical or standard music festival experiences.
Gem & Jam is an annual extravaganza and seamlessly aligns with the world-renowned Tucson Gem, Mineral, and Fossil Showcase. This creates a potentially perfect weekend for a fusion of music, art, gem enthusiasts, and festival-goers alike.
Situated on 640 acres, a mere 20 miles south of downtown Tucson, the Pima County Fairgrounds is nestled in the midst of nature, enveloped by a breathtaking desert landscape. This vast and enchanting setting provides the ideal backdrop for the Gem and Jam festival.

With 55,000 attendees converging on Tucson, AZ from around the globe, and most of them for the 3-week Gem and Mineral Show, Gem & Jam has committed to showcasing both cultures of music, gems, and minerals. This creates the ideal setting for celebrating the art and ethos of the Gem and Mineral community and also seamlessly integrates entertainment and visual arts.
Continuing its tradition, the festival will provide amenities such as on-site camping, RV passes, glamping options, late-night music, daytime workshops, delectable food and drinks, a globally acclaimed vendor bazaar, and, of course, continuous music and art experiences.
Gem & Jam 2024 Features A Diverse Musical Palette
Philadelphia’s own The Disco Biscuits are set to headline, bringing their signature fusion of jam band and electronic music. Known for their improvisational style, the band is a staple in the jamtronica scene.
Of The Trees, a genre-blending bass act, is also headlining. This artist is enowned for their unique blend of bass music with various trippy or spacey elements.
Another RMR favorite, Boogie T, is a bass producer and multi-instrumentalist who will grace the festival with two sets, one solo and one with his band Boogie T.RIO. Known for funky dynamic performances, they are set to bring a high-energy mix of bass music and live instrumentation.
Gem & Jam eagerly embraces the return of acclaimed acts, including the dynamic sounds of Break Science, the electrifying performances of Maddy O’Neal with both a live-electronic set and an underground MadHaus experience, and the soulful beats of Michal Menert.
Adding to the inaugural lineup, Gem & Jam introduces captivating acts such as the energetic ensemble Andy Frasco and the U.N., the groove-infused vibes of The Main Squeeze, the groundbreaking TRUTH, the inspiring sounds of Gone Gone Beyond, the experimental beats of Yheti, the live brilliance of Booka Shade, the innovative Mr Carmack, and a multitude of other exceptional artists.
Building on the success of their partnerships in 2022 and 2023, Gem & Jam is once again collaborating with the environmental festival organization Green Disco. This partnership aims to enhance the festival’s environmental impact and offers attendees the chance to partake in an eco-friendly experience.
Festival-goers can opt for the Green Disco Eco-Band, an additional ticket add-on that not only provides a 10% discount on merchandise but also contributes to the festival’s commitment to plant over 500 trees locally in Tucson through the Million Trees project. Gem & Jam 2024 Camping, Glamping, and Ticket Information
Glamping options can be purchased separately on the Gem & Jam website and are not included in the ticket admission. These luxurious accommodations are set in shaded campsites on grass, featuring tents that comfortably sleep two. Each tent is equipped with an inflatable mattress, bedding, furniture, space heater, and electricity for a premium experience.
