6LACK has just put out a new song titled “Float.” The Atlanta R&B artist has been a staple in the game for years now. Especially after dropping singles “Unfair” and “Been A While” along with his 2018 album East Atlanta Love Letter. 6lack is preparing his fans for his upcoming EP titled 6pc Hot. His new single also has special importance, because he gave it to us his birthday which is June 24th. He’s given something to his fans to vibe out with until his project is here, and it couldn’t have arrived a moment too soon.
With “Float,” he hits all the vibes that everyone is looking for right now. He shares many touching lyrics throughout. This includes the lines “It’s a big war goin’ on outside, grab your lover time to slide Say your prayers, hold ’em tight Give your heart with your goodbyes.” While he doesn’t share a large amount of lyrics in the song, the weight of his words has the larger importance. Singing over a stripped-down instrumental featuring acoustic guitar and filtered percussion, he hits the sound fans know and love.
