The Pacific Northwest is a hotbed for talent. OG’s are blossoming and new faces are building momentum. 2xTim is an artist making waves in a multitude of ways. Out on the West Coast, Mozzy and Raz Simone are both highly respected rap artists who have gained international notoriety over the last five years. Mozzy recently announced his national headlining tour with Raz performing on the lineup, plus his collaborative project with Berner is still gaining traction. Both artists have been making waves in their own lanes and join 2xTim and YKTMV to create a smooth Summer hit called “Shooter”.
The Anthony Danza produced beat featured a beautiful sample and a chill but powerful baseline. Seattle-based 2xTim kicks things off the right way, rapping and singing before Raz, YKTMV, and Mozzy round out the last 2/3 of the song. Raz comes through with one of the hardest verses I’ve heard from him in a minute before YKTMV and Mozzy clean things up the rest the way. The beat for “Shooter” undeniably slaps plus all four artists really brought their A-game on this one.
