This coming Saturday, July 20th, from 11am-2:20pm the Capitol Hill Block Party Artist Panel Series will be taking place at the Riveter Community Workspace on Capitol Hill. This is a FREE event that will be taking place during the three-day long festivities of the 2019 block party. This artist panel series began back in 2014, and annually continues to make an appearance.
Lo Flux Media and Nadamucho host the event with the intent to connect local artists with business leaders, influencers, and media. You’ll notice Kelly Fleek, owner/founder of Lo Flux Media, and member of Seattle electro-rock band, The Spider Ferns, moderating the panel. Big Mario’s Pizza and the CHBP will be providing a networking brunch with refreshing beverages.
With Seattle undergoing a rapid wave of growth and subsequent change, it’s especially important for members of the local music community, as well as local business and government, to come together. More than ever, we need to plant a firm stake in the historically artistic neighborhoods of the city to make sure they continue to stay supportive of the arts.
Through unity within all local entities can we form a strong bond that can’t be torn down by big business. This event is meant to bring those entities together to build relationships and discuss strategies for success.
