All Star Opera recently got in the studio with one of our favorite Tacoma bands, Decent At Best. The two joined forces for a one-off supergroup-style single called, ‘Mutual Tones.’
The two bands created a smooth, original jam aimed at blending and complimenting each other’s sound.
With the addition of RMR’s M-Pyre producing the drums, the track features ASO MC’s Flow Carter & Oz on the verses, Andy Rupert (DAB) singing the hook and he laid down the verse guitar, Seth From Above (ASO) on the Rhodes piano, Keith Gledhill (ASO) played the funky bass, Steve Bingham (DAB) played the hook guitar, and Jack Wigbodly (DAB) with Will Greenburg (ASO) on background vocals.
The song was all recorded at Purple Door Studios in Belltown by Seth From Above (ASO) and mixed by Andrew Richards (DAB) down in Tacoma at Decent At Best’s studio.
It was truly a joint effort on this collaboration. Check out ‘Mutual Tones’ on SoundCloud below, Spotify, or any streaming platform.
